Steel Projects is a homegrown real estate and development firm in the business of preserving heirloom properties and Raleigh institutions. We are a band of sisters and brothers that love this city, and preserving and enhancing it is at the heart of what we do.

Since 2008, Steel Projects has managed and completed more than two dozen commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in our community, driven by one basic principle: We are OF Raleigh, and we are FOR Raleigh.

Whether it’s brokerage services, commercial leasing and development, or historic rehabilitation, we work to ensure the longevity of current and future landmarks in our beloved hometown.

IT ALL STARTED WITH A HOUSE

Ben’s first self-managed project began in 2008 with the preservation and renovation of a condemned historic home in the Chavis Park neighborhood. Since then, Ben and the Steel Projects team have completed more than two dozen commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in the community.
