Allison decided to put down roots in North Carolina in the mid-nineties to pursue graduate studies at North Carolina State University and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned an M.S. in Forest Pathology and a Master of Accounting, respectively. Prior to her role at Steel Projects, Allison spent ten years as the Controller and Director of Accounting at TradeMark Properties in Raleigh, honing her skills in financial operations for commercial real estate. Her earlier career includes working as an Accountant at UDM Systems, and a Fund Accountant at The Forestland Group.
Allison supports Raleigh by actively volunteering for many local organizations, including the Positive Childhood Alliance North Carolina, The Great Raleigh Cleanup, and Raleigh Women in Business for Good. She currently serves on the board of Meals on Wheels of Wake County, and Prevent Child Abuse NC.
Allison brings twenty-two years of financial reporting and property accounting experience to the Steel Projects team, expertly managing cash flow and financing for development projects, and overseeing the financial operations of the company.
